One of those “more pieces on the way” is by no means new. Bodiam Castle, a Renaissance-style piece for four trombones, was written – and played – way back in 1986! Only just recently did I revive this piece and record it myself. And what’s more, with a bit of adaptation, the piece is also ideal for four horns. Inspired by the real Bodiam Castle, I can just imagine the four players standing on the four turrets playing this piece.
